This post about two recent statements that shocked me. The first one was from Dalai Lama, a Nobel Peace Laureate. While delivering a lecture at Madhavrao Scindia Memorial lecture said terrorism can’t be dealt with non-violence. He also said he loved George Bush. A very unusual comment from a person considered messiah of peace by many.

The second comment was from N.Ram, Editor of The Hindu. N. Ram had slammed the media in both India and Pakistan for "fanning jingoist hysteria" while reporting on the Mumbai terror attacks. Again a very unusual public comment from Editor of a newspaper condemning activities of men from his own profession.
