When a visionary is taking tough calls to tighten rules, politicians in India have gone crazy. They did not bother to increase the fuel prices of and let the Oil Navratnas were going virtually bankrupt, when the crude hit highs of $ 140 a barrel. They have reduced the prices by Rs 15 within a period of 2 months, with all eyes on vote bank. Instead the windfall from low oil prices could have been used to subsidize the use of renewables. This would have been a sensible move in long run, but steps like this calls for some “statesmanship” on the part of politicians.

High time our politicians we learn from visionary who promising and is also working towards sweeping changes.
