Its not over for 2009, Yet!!!

Well…its been close to ten days since I had written off CSK from making it to the semis if the second edition of the IPL-2009. It has been a 4 continuous win for Dhoni’s men after losing to Deccan Chargers. I was not fully wrong with my predictions and findings. I was probably right in pointing that IPL is not only about four foreign players in the team but also about other 7 Indian players in the team. I never though the squad had such good Indian talent like Jakarti, Vijay and Sudip Tyagi. They might not be the best of the domestic talent but they can certainly complement the efforts of the foreign players along with Dhoni and Raina.

With openers (Hayden and Vijay), laying the strong platform for the middle order (Raina, Dhoni, Morkel and Badrinath) to fire at the end, the team post a huge total. The opening bowlers (Morkel and Sudip Tyagi) seem to be consistently getting the crucial break throughs in the beginning of the innings, it as become easier for the slow bowlers in the later part of the innings. With batting and bowling looking in good form, team is living up to the image of favourites.

With 7 teams cramped up in the top of the table, all spots in the semis seem to be wide open. The teams qualifying for the semis might be decided in the next couple of days. But then the good news is DHONI finding his magical touch again...
